As a Mexican national, living in the USA. I felt very at home at this resort!!! Pros: 1) Service was very good. Service is unbelievable if you tip. 2) Staff was very helpful, and pleasant, not one thing went wrong. 3) Food in all restaurants was excellent!!! 4) All inclusive, including mini bar and room service, with no wrist bands! 5) My 11 year old could not get enough of the Explorer's Club, she wanted to go every day!! Cons: 1) 1 pool, not an issue for me or my family as the beach was amazing. 2) Rooms are older, but clean and comfortable. If fancy rooms are important to you, you may want to choose another property.

It may not be the most luxurious, largest, comprehensive or famous of the hotels/resorts in Cancun, but it has the absolute best location and I think the best beach. You can walk to most of the bars, restaurants and shopping yet you're off the main drag and noise. The rooms are kind of kitschy and basic but very clean with useful baclconies and......how much time are you going to spend in your room anyway? Staff is great, food is excellent (stone crab on the buffet). I now stay here every Xmas

The hotel is very disappointing. The service is poor. If you want good all Inclusiveexperience go to Rivera Maya. The hotel has a beautiful gazebo on the beach and that's the only good thing about it. There are a lot of weddings. The staff seems to be trained to handle weddings, but if you want to have a good family vacation this is not a place to be. Thefood is horrible, the drinks are not good either. Evlerything in the hotel needs remodeling and updating. So I would not recommend this hotel. We 've been to Mexico many times, this was the worst experience.

My wife and I stayed for 7 nights in May 2010 and could not have been happier. The staff was friendly the service wonderful the food was fine the ocean front view room was comfortable and clean. this is not a 4 or 5 star dining experience but it was fine for hungry people. We took advantage of room service two mornings and it was good. Lots of food. the buffets in the world cafe had a huge selection of food for adults and kids alike. My favorite memories include having a Caribbean croissant and a mango non-alcoholic margarita served at my beach chair while gazing at the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. the location is perfect. Its nice and quiet but you can walk maybe a quarter mile and be right at Coco Bongo and other high energy nightclubs and the flea market offers bargains for those willing to negotiate. I was very sad to read the review of the couple that were hassled due to the husbands Spanish descent. I understand the hotels security concerns but this sounds like harassment. We took advantage of the 20 discount at the Yucatan restaurant next door and had an Excellent meal that was a major bargain. Try the churros with ice cream for dessert the caramel sauce was to die for and the churros hot and crisp. Not the stale warm things we get at fairs and amusement parks. Buy a guide before you go to brush up and become quotstreet smartquot . Overall an excellent experience for us as a couple. we will be returning with our teenage kids as soon as possible!

We needed a quiet relaxing vacation and we got just as we hoped. Dreams has both a busy crowded happy party side and a quite relaxing side. We picked the Club Tower and it was perfect. The hotel staff is the best. The food is above avarage and the deal is unbeatable. Best vacation for the price ever. So much to do if you want or just sit on a beautiful beach and relax. The hotel zone just outside the hotel offers much to do and see just a short walk. The security at the hotel is wonderful. They insure you are a guest and keep outsiders away. Everyone works hard to keep you happy and get anything you want. Housekeeping was outstanding. Yes for three times the price you can fine a better hotel but why bother!! Dreams is perfect.
